Different ways companies can implement for total quality management

The focus for part 2 is on all of the different ways companies can implement people and improvement orientation plans/strategies and will include examples from all of the companies that were researched. The end result will not be focused on one organization, but rather a summary from many companies.

  1. Each group member shares his or her TQM findings on Brightspace in the Private team discussion forum (part 1). All group members look for consistencies and record them on a Word document.
    1. For example: Based on our group’s findings, a company exhibiting TQM principles has a diverse, customer-focused workforce and continues to improve its products and the organization itself.
    2. Summarize the group’s work, answer the questions at the end of the assignment and submit for a team grade.
    3. The document should be 3-5 pages in length.
  2. Upon completion of the exercise you will need to answer the following questions:
  • What trends do you see across companies?
  • What did you learn about TQM from this exercise?
  • Do you think companies will become concerned about TQM in the 21stcentury?
  • How can other course concepts be applied to this assignment as well?
