Task: Pick two variables from the Crime Survey for England and Wales and carry out appropriate statistical procedures to explore the relationships between them. In doing so, ensure you have: a) you have developed appropriate hypotheses, b) explored appropriate published literature relating to your variables and their relationships, c) critically discussed secondary data analysis, d) critically appraised the strengths and weaknesses of the Crime Survey for England and Wales for understanding attitudes towards ‘criminality’, e) conducted appropriate univariate analysis on your chosen variables and explained this data, f) conducted appropriate bivariate analysis on your chosen variables and explained this data, g) decided whether to accept or reject your research hypothesis, h) summed up your findings and argument, i) numbered and labelled all tables and figures in the correct way and j) referenced all literature that has been cited appropriately, according to the Harvard system.
