Example: The Terrorism Threat The definition of terrorism lies in the gray area that exists between crime and war. Some experts disagree as to what it really is and some say that terrorism results from various causes that defy any clear distinction between the political and the criminal. Many people equate terrorism with war and others describe terrorism as a alternative or substitute for war. Whether it is something that is conducted by them against us with them meaning the enemy or not , still people and property are killed and damaged, life is taken (Sadler & Winters, 1996).

Terrorism is a political as well as a legal and a military issue, its definition in modern terms has been slow to evolve. Not that there are not numerous definitions available, there are hundreds. But few of them are of sufficient legal scholarship to be useful in international law, and most of those which are legally useful lack the necessary ambiguity for political acceptance (Simonsen & Spindlelove, 1999.) Please note that the references in the body (written portion) and reference section of the paper are only in red for teaching purpose. In your paper they should be black.
