ssignment extract:

we need to paraphrase the information in a word file. please, we do not want any similarity. this is all work we need.

This semester was filled with a lot of learning experiences for me. I was not only able to improve my research skill but I was also able to transcend the ideas from my mind into actual written work. While there were several challenges along the way, I can say that I was able to successfully imbibe the lesson of writing and researching. I was able to learn that there are various ways of writing. Each writing activity requires a different voice or form of writing. Scientific articles are written in formal tone in order to show authority. Also, subjective and personal tones are avoided since scientific writing requires factuality and brevity. Emotions do not have any space for scientific writing.

Prior to this class, I thought that being a good writer is about using high-sounding words and complex ideas. I thought that it is the job of the reader to understand what I say. Yet, I noticed in this class that I changed my attitude in writing. I became more concerned with the idea of being understood rather than sounding intelligent. Also, I learned to be critical in choosing my sources. I discovered that not all websites contain factual information. In the academic, journals and periodicals have more bearing than blogs or gossip articles.

In terms of critical thinking, I was able to improve various skills. I was able to interpret the meaning of the texts I read. I became particular in understanding the context of the article in order to properly interpret the author and his/her statements. Also, I was able to improve my skills in explaining. Aside from understanding the text, I have to relay it to other people through written means. Connected to this was the skill of exemplification. In order to better explain concepts, I learned to use basic examples to further simplify the idea or notion being presented. Lastly, I improved on the skill of observing. Even before attaching meaning to words or concepts, I learned to observe things without bias. I learned to suspend my personal judgment so as to ensure that I am objective on ideas that I encounter.

Moreover, in the aspect of revision skills, I improved on adding new information. I learned that what I have written might still be lacking or falling short or other else. In the rough and final draft of my Project 4, I only added the page numbers of my citations. Here, I learned the value of incorporating sources more effectively. I was able to realize that complete citation is an essential part of the academic writing. Despite this, I still have to reread the articles I have written. Here, I proved to myself that writing really happens during the process of rewriting. I went back to the pieces I wrote and made sure that the voice is consistent and apt to the given circumstance. In so doing, I made sure that I was not able to miss anything crucial element in my writing project. Still, in other projects, I was able to change and develop my ideas to expand the outline I created.

I believed that I have improved largely in terms of my punctuation, grammar, and spelling. I was able to develop the habit of rereading what I have written to make sure that I follow the correct rules of the English language. I believe that the essays we made in the class are essential tools for us to expand our limits in terms of writing. Writing scientific papers in format tones and voices allowed us to formulate our ideas is a more straightforward and brief fashion. Through these essays, I also found out things that I still have to improve in my university life such as researching and fast reading. The requirement of citing various sources made me realize that I have to learn how to read fast while absorbing and understanding the content of the text that I am reading.

Lastly, I believe that reflection is a necessary part of the writing process because it allows the author to assess his/her own out and consequently learn his/her own limitations. While readers can send their comment on our papers through their comments or reactions, we tend to fully embrace our output and fail to critique our own self. For writers to be honed and trained, self-assessment is necessary. This means that writer themselves should know and realize their shortcomings. With this, they would also know their points of improvement as well as areas of more practice.
