Reflection on Roleplay Social Work Interview
Assessment requirements:
This assessment encourages you to examine your knowledge, skills and capacity to engage
and assess the needs and strengths of clients who may present before you. The emphasis is
on your capacity to think and act creatively in your approach to developing purposeful and
respectful relationships with a range of client experiences.
This assessment covers all material covered in this unit. Refer to the review readings in Week
12 and the resources provided you in the Online Skills Tutorials to help you prepare for this
final unit assessment.
COVID arrangements 2020
You are required to participate in 8 hours of Online Skills Tutorials prior to submitting
your role play video. At these tutorials, you will have opportunity to practice your role-plays
and receive feedback from both teaching staff and your peers, which will be critical to your
learning and acquisition of skills. Please consult with your local LIC for details of the tutorial
schedule on your campus.
Grading of the Roleplay Skills Assessment is based on the assessment of:
1. your videorecording of your roleplay interview (Part A);
2. your written reflection about your roleplay interview (Part B); and
3. written feedback
