Multigenerational Effects on Children’s Cognitive and Socioemotional Outcomes: A Within-Child Investigation
- How do I submit my presentation?
- There are 5 important steps: (1) Record your video into the “Final Submission” Panopto folder. (2) Copy the link to your video (see below for guidance) (3) Download the submission template document, available under the Developmental Presentation folder. (4) Fill in the template with your info and add the link (URL) to your video copied from Panopto. (5) Submit this document to Turnitin (portals located in the Assessment Submission Points folder). This allows us to identify individual submissions, view the presentations, and provide feedback.
- How do I record a Panopto video?
- Please read the IT guides on how to set up and record Panopto videos under the “Panopto” tab. You may also watch our video demonstration of Panopto recording.
- How many slides?
- Students approach this in a range of approaches; some like to have all of the information appear on the slides and others less so. How many can you present in the 10 minute time limit? I suggest between 8-16 (excluding references). This is only a guide there is no strict rule.
- What should I talk about?
- Begin with an overview of your chosen article.
- Then present each section of your chosen article in a logical order ending with your critique.
- The first part may be quite descriptive in nature and the second part should contain more evaluation as this is your opportunity to add your own thoughts and insights.
- End by considering the importance and impact of the work.
