She is a 10 year old girl who is admitted to hospital with gangrenous perforated appendix with peritonitis. She is staying in hospital for her antibiotic therapy and observation. We need to discuss it’s pathophysiology of presenting complaint . Pathophysiology from cellular level , organ level and system level. Developmental task for her, family centered care and effect of hospitalization of child in her family and herself.
