Have you as a child ever been neglected or not wanted? How did that make you feel, good or bad? The meaning of child abuse does not have to be physical, but also someone can be mentally abused. Child abuse can affect personality growth and later adult behavior. I know that when children do not get the attention they need, they start doing other stuff to get the attention they are seeking for.
