Discussion- Proportions and Scale in Art
For this week’s discussion, select a work of art that uses scale and proportion in a distinct or pronounced way. Some questions to consider when writing your post: How does the use of scale and/or proportion relate to the context and meaning of the work of art? Are these principles used naturalistically or are they distorted in such a way as to subvert traditional associations? How does the use of scale/proportion affect viewer perceptions? What other elements or principles enhance the work’s appearance? Remember to use vocabulary terms and refer to concepts discussed in the textbook and/or online lecture. some terms you need to use(not all).
