1. Take a moment to think about the community that you live or work in. Are there many residents of your community who face difficulties getting access to healthcare? What are some of the difficulties? Is telemedicine available? To whom?
2. What do you see as the top challenges healthcare providers and organizations encounter with telehealth services?
3. With the implementation of new technologies often comes regulatory and reimbursement issues to be addressed. Discuss some of these issues and how they are being addressed at the federal state, and community levels.
4. We have talked about challenges with telehealth, regulations, and reimbursement so far this week. Based on our course materials and discussions to date, how can we leverage telehealth to address health disparities and improve access to needed health services? In doing so, how do we ensure privacy and safety are addressed?
