The first step in the Research Essay assignment is to select and describe your topic in one paragraph. You are encouraged to cast a wide net and explore what is happening in environmental art around the globe. (Pretty much within the whole essay is about the artist project and why he/she done this natural environmental project? it is issue or bringing the awareness.)
The artist I chose is Benjamin Von Wong.
Talk and Describe about the project and why it is important and the relation to the natural environment.
Choose a project or work of art that fulfills all of the following requirements:
1) It was created between 1960 and the present day.
2) It promotes an ecological world view and/or addresses current crises in the natural environment.
It will be a research paper on contemporary environmental art (1960 to the present day). Find a minimum of 3 reliable sources on a topic of your choice. Construct a thesis statement defining your theme (underline your thesis statement). Analyze and interpret the selected project or work of art; place it in its historical and environmental context; identify the creative environmental strategies employed by the artist . I will chose an artist and artwork; however, you can change the artwork but the same artist I chose depend on if the project have enough sources. You can selected any of his artwork to write about as long it the work have to do with nature environment and below are his website.
