To do this: Extend the report through three steps. Step 1: Develop your discussion of the selected plan, idea and/or architect.  Conduct further research on your selected theme/architect (begin with the list of recommended readings.)  Develop and further refine: The structure and logic of your argument. Your written expression. Your text should be both succinct and persuasive. Your discussion of the relevant sources. Step 2: extend your discussion through the analysis and interpretation of one key project and/or city by your selected architect.  Extend your written discussion through your analysis and interpretation of this project.  Develop at least one diagram (or visual interpretation) that presents the relationship of the selected project and social and/or cultural challenge for the city Step 3: clarify and improve the design of your document.  Refine and extend your image selection – incorporating your* analytical drawings.  Refine the relationship between image and text.  Refine the clarity of the graphic composition and layout. *your own developed sketches, not borrowed from the resources, but based on the resources Format: 500 words. A5 fold-out (continuous – printed on one side only). No page limits. Referencing as per guide provided. Print, in black and white or colour, on white paper no thicker than cartridge. Text type and font: as determined by the student. Page format: as determined by student. Title page: Must include course and assignment title, student name and number, tutor’s name. May also include text and image. Middle pages: Text and image. End page: Endnotes/captions. For refer to the Unit Outline. Submission: For submission dates/time refer to the course schedule. Submit one hardcopy at the beginning of the class. Prepare the digital version of your file (PDF) and short presentation. Assessment Weight: 30% of overall grade.
