Please be sure to submit TWO separate lesson plans and a reflection. Please view the rubric for the lesson plans to make sure you cover all areas. I will grade the reflection based on my modifications

• Create an art lesson plan that integrates SS and ELA.
• Since you may/may not have a mentor, you can choose a lesson of your choice and modify it by integrating SS and ELA. THIS WILL BE A SEPERATE LESSON PLAN. PLEASE CHOOSE A LESSON PLAN THAT YOU PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED IN THIS COURSE
• For the reflection, just use this time to speak about how you will teach the newly created lesson (from bullet 1 above) while integrating Social Studies and Language Arts. Add a short paragraph telling how you integrated the two subject areas into the previous lesson plan (bullet 2).
• ALSO ADD THE FOLLOWING TO YOUR 500-750-WORD REFLECTION
  1. How can you promote student readiness for learning, a positive learning environment, supportive interactions, engagement, and enthusiasm?
  2. How did you plan instruction that used effective strategies and resources, including the appropriate use of technology, to meet the needs of students?
  3. Explain why there is value in cross-content lessons. Use your research from Topic 1 and personal experience.
• Also choose one video (of your choice) that covers ELA or SS and write a reflection on how you thought the lesson was and how you would change/modify it in your classroom. Speak about the strengths and opportunity for growth. I will post this in the DB section as well as announcements. Add the link to the video to your reference page.
